Lingo Sperm

Privacy Policy

Last updated 10 October 2026

This covers Lingo Sperm: the app on the App Store and Google Play, and the website at lingo-sperm.online. Same game, same developer, same data.

Lingo Sperm is a vocabulary game. It is not an advertising business, so there is very little here. This page says exactly what leaves your device, who it goes to, and how to delete all of it.

What we collect

Nothing at all until you make an account. You can install the game, play it and reach the paywall without giving us anything.

If you create an account, we store:

  • Your email address, or the identifier your Apple or Google sign-in gives us. With Sign in with Apple you may hide your address, and we never see the real one.
  • Your game progress: your kids, your cell count, the words you have answered and how you did on them, and which language pair and level you picked.
  • Whether you have paid, which plan, and when it expires. We do not see or store your card details — see “Payments” below.

Your voice

The audio game listens through your microphone, and only while a round is running: the mic opens when you press Start and closes the moment the round ends, you die, or you leave. Nothing is recorded at any other time, and the other game never uses it.

While it is open, the sound is streamed to Deepgram, a speech-recognition service, which turns it into text so the game can check the word you said. We do not store the audio or the text, and neither is linked to your account. Deepgram's handling of it is set out in its own privacy policy.

You can refuse the microphone and still play the other game.

What we do not collect

No advertising identifiers, no third-party trackers, no location, no contacts, no photos, no health data. We do not sell or share anything with data brokers, because there is nothing here worth selling and we would rather not be that kind of business.

To see where the game loses people, the apps and the website record which screens are reached and which buttons are pressed: things like "opened the paywall" or "finished a run". These go to PostHog under a random ID it makes up on your device. Never your name, your email, your account or the words you answered, and the ID is not linked to your account. The website also counts anonymous visits through Vercel Analytics, which uses no cookies.

Where it lives

Your progress is kept on your own device first. If you are signed in, a copy is synced to our database so a new phone can pick it up.

That database is Supabase, hosted in the EU. Sign-in is handled by Supabase Auth, and by Apple or Google if you choose one of those buttons. The website is hosted on Vercel. Usage events are processed by PostHog.

Payments

In the iPhone app, purchases are handled by Apple; in the Android app, by Google Play. We use RevenueCat to tell us whether a purchase succeeded. Neither we nor RevenueCat receive your card details.

On the website, purchases are handled by Whop, who are the merchant of record. They receive the payment details; we receive only the fact that you paid, the plan and the email on the receipt.

Children

This game is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. The age rating on each store is the one to go by.

Deleting it

In the app or on the site, open the account icon and choose “Delete my account”. Your kids, your word list, your run history and your purchase record are deleted from our database immediately.

One honest complication: the sign-in itself is shared with Merumi, another app by the same developer. If you have used Merumi, we delete the game's data and leave the login alone, because deleting it would destroy your Merumi account as well. If you have not, the login is deleted too. The app tells you which of the two happened.

You can also ask us to do it by writing to galekkarmanov@gmail.com.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK, you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. The delete button above does the third one instantly; for the others, write to us and we will answer within 30 days.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it.
